Open to all PRCA and WPRA contestants in good standing with their respective associations.

Compete in at least 7 out of 10 participating PRCA rodeos.

Points are awarded to the top five (5) contestants in each event at participating rodeos.

Contestants must achieve an official score (roughstock events) or time (timed events) to qualify.

*Release and Indemnification

By participating in the Road to the Gold series, participants agree to release, indemnify, and hold harmless Legacy Pro Rodeo, Trails West, the participating rodeos, and their respective committees, officers, directors, employees, agents, and volunteers from any and all claims, liabilities, damages, or causes of action of any kind, arising from or in connection with their participation in the series.

*Tax Obligations and Trailer Expenses

Competitors participating in the Road to the Gold series are solely responsible for all applicable federal, state, and local taxes associated with any cash prizes or earnings received during the series. Additionally, the series champion who is awarded the 3-horse trailer will be responsible for all costs associated with licensing, registration, and taxes related to the trailer.
